  1. The National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) offers the eighth issue of its online Foundation Funding Guide. In response to requests from NACCHO membership, NACCHO is working with The Foundation Center to identify funding resources at the national and state level from private foundations. Each month, the guide will focus on one area of public health. This month, the guide features foundations that have listed "Birth Defects & Developmental and Physical Disabilities" as a focus area. To view the guide, visit http://www.ncpad.org/682/3018/2004-09-01#10 and click on Foundation Funding Guide, or go directly to http://www.ncpad.org/682/3018/2004-09-01#10.
