  • The American Blind Bowling Association (ABBA) is the official North American sanctioning organization for blind ten pin bowlers. It was founded in 1951 by a few dedicated bowlers who are blind in New York and Philadelphia who realized the value of a national oranization in promoting the sport to people who are blind countrywide. Today the ABBA has over 2000 members in more than 125 leagues across the United States and Canada.
