AbilityPLUS is a nonprofit organization located in Waterville Valley New Hampshire. We are dedicated to helping disabled people of all abilities realize their dreams of inclusion through adaptive skiing and other recreation opportunities.

AbilityPLUS was founded in 1997 by Kathy Chandler, the founder and director of the Waterville Valley Adaptive Skiing Program and a small group of volunteers who were inspired by the awesome achievements of the disabled participants.

Today, along with our partner programs and hundreds of volunteers, we provide thousands of disabled individuals and their families with lessons and the joy of inclusion in mainstream recreational activities.

Waterville Valley Adaptive and each of our Partner Programs are open to everyone. We teach and work with people regardless of their age or disability. Our goal is to eliminate the barriers that prevent disabled athletes from participating in mainstream sports and recreation activities.
