• A Chance to Dance (ACTD) is a non-profit organization which provides professional dance instruction to individuals with special needs. Classes are in session from September to May and generally follow the public school schedule. We are committed to establishing a barrier-free environment where children, regardless of impairment, can participate in the art of dance through therapeutic movement.

Students must be medically stable, able to follow simple instructions, and have a disability recognized by the ADA. ACTD has worked with the following diagnoses: Autism, Down's Syndrome, Emotional Disorder, Developmental Coordination Disorder, Hearing Impaired, and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
