Organizations, Programs, and Facilities

If you work for an organization and would like to facilitate a group of individuals with disabilities, let us help support you and your 14-Week Healthy Team! In the event that individuals in your organization do not have individual or personal Internet access, this is the perfect way for you to serve as the liaison. You (as well as your individual team members) will receive tips the weekend prior so you have plenty of time to fine-tune or alter them if necessary, based on your team members’ needs.

Each team of people with disabilities, chronic conditions, and activity limitations will receive a free poster to hang in a highly visible area in your facility and handouts to distribute to your participants. The poster and handouts make up a toolkit that is part of an awareness campaign called Exercise is for Everybody! Do you get enough?. The purpose of this campaign is to promote healthy lifestyles among people with disabilities. The toolkit materials will contain general exercise guidelines as well as a list of accessible exercise and fitness, sports, and recreation programs in your specific area.

Additionally, as team captain, you will receive a free gift from the NCPAD webshop to share with your team members during the 14-week program. Give us a call at (800) 900-8086 to find out which NCPAD product is best suited for your team.
