Beyond Assessment: The Team Approach to Prevention and Intervention for Overweight and Obesity in Children with Developmental Disabilities, Los Angeles, CA, May 2-3, 2005

The goal of this conference is to bring together multidisciplinary teams of health care professionals from Title V Agencies, University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, and Medical Homes serving children with developmental disabilities and special health care needs to promote health, prevent obesity as a secondary condition, and eliminate disparities between children with and without disabilities.

Dr. Rimmer, director of NCPAD, will be speaking on tailoring exercise programs for persons with developmental disabilities.
