Empower Me Day Camp was founded and is staffed with pediatric therapists to serve children with disabilities in the Middle Tennessee area. We operate three programs within the corporation. The Summer Day Camp is an eight week day camp for children ages 5-21 with physical or developmental disabilities. The focus of the program is to provide a positive learning and social environment while enhancing independence, self-sesteem and physical and mental abilities.The Empowering Through Education program promotes increased awareness of the needs of these children through various presentations and seminars at universities and local organizations. The Empowering Opportunities program provides year-round activities for these children. We offer activities at a local fair, a free one day Christmas Camp, participation in the Christmas Parade and the opportunity to participate in other community awarenss events.
