Abstract

An amendment was made to the original Amateur Athletic Act, PL 95-606, with provisions reflecting the growth of competition by athletes with disabilities within Olympic and amateur athletic programs.

The editor of the magazine describes the meaning of the new amendment, and the process now taken as a result of this amendment.
