Volume compiles information presented at the 8th European Conference for the Advancement of Assistive Technology on behalf of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE). The theme “From Virtuality to Reality” was inspired by the difficulty encountered in getting the assistive technology (AT) research and development carried out by laboratories to the users.
