A Study of Training Needs of Therapeutic Recreation Personnel in the State of Illinois

Abstract

This study is part of a series of studies undertaken by the Therapeutic Recreation section of the Office of Recreation and Park Resources to determine training needs of personnel throughout the State of Illinois who are involved in activity work with special populations. This exploration and investigation of training needs will give direction to the planning of programs for professional development through ORPR, as well as the coordination of training concerns with other organizations, agencies and institutions of higher learning.
