Aquatics for Children with Disabilities

Abstract

An introductory training tool for teachers, therapists, and volunteers to learn techniques that help involve children with disabilities in aquatic programs. Aquatics is an excellent therapy to improve flexibility, mobility, strength, and endurance while having fun.

This video provides caregivers with vital information on including children with special needs in aquatic activities, such as pool entries and exits, water adjustment and basic swim skills, fitness activities, and games.
