Angela Grant joined the UAB/Lakeshore Collaborative in April of 2012 when she transferred to the UAB Dept. of Health Professions from the UAB Dept. of OB/GYN where she spent close to 10 years working on projects related to the Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief in Africa. Ms. Grant has been employed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) full time since 1995. She has an undergraduate degree is in Social Work and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. She has amassed over 12 years of progressively responsible project management and fiscal administration experience. She is seasoned in both pre-award and post-award grants management. She has worked with several federal, state, and non-profit agencies during her time at UAB. The various positions that she has held at UAB has allowed her to develop a great working repertoire of relationships within the UAB Administration and UAB Medical Center and many sponsoring agencies. She has a fine understanding of the grant process and the need to meet the goals outlined in the grant objectives within the budget parameters provided. Her experience and relationships will contribute to the successful operation of the NCHPAD project.
