The Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center (KCRC) is a place dedicated to serving children with disabilities and medical conditions. Children between the ages of birth through 21 come to the KCRC from all over Virginia, the United States, and even oversees for many reasons. Some need specific therapy or rehabilitation after injuries, accidents, or surgery. Others have chronic illness such as diabetes and cystic fibrosis. Many families come to find out why their child is having difficulties walking, talking, learning, eating or experiencing behavior problems. KCRC is part of the UVa Children's Hospital of the University of Virginia. We are located on 12 acres in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, and only two miles from the University of Virginia Health System.
