South Carolina 4-H Camping has been a tradition for more than 70 years.Camp Bob Cooper has been a vital part of the 4-H camping experience over the years. Campers will enjoy the traditional camping experience along with new activities.
Camp Bob Cooper covers 110 acres, perched on the shores of beautiful Lake Marion. While there, campers will get a change of pace from their usual surroundings and will have a unique opportunity to experience the great outdoors.
Camp is designed to give boys and girls, ages 8-16, the chance to explore the great outdoors and enjoy the thrills of new experiences and friends. Campers are divided into groups for daily activities based on age and experience. At night, campers will come together for camp-wide activities designed to encourage camaraderie and friendship. Lodging assignments are made based on age and grade level. Requests for specific roommates will be honored for children within one year of age, if space is available. Special concerns about housing should be noted on the application. You do not need to be a member of 4-H to attend this camp.
