Camp Washington, an outdoor ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut, has offered young people a unique Christian community experience surrounded by nature since 1917.
Camp Washington is located in the heart of picturesque Litchfield County at the foot of the Berkshire Mountains. Sitting on over 300 acres, it has miles of woodland trails to explore the beauty of northwest Connecticut
Our stream fed pond is used for swimming and canoeing, stream walking and quiet contemplation. Large playing fields, a sand volleyball court, full-size basketball court, archery range and low ropes course provide opportunities for physical activity. An outdoor pavilion and chapel place campers in the midst of God's creation for reflection and environmental awareness.
Our campers stay in one of eight dormitory style cabins with bunk beds. Each cabin has restrooms and showers, two of them wheelchair accessible, as are all the buildings on our camp property.
Please note that this program is not specific for children with disabilties. Although the Camp Staff will do everything possible to accomodate individuals with disabilities and their care givers. Please contact for specific disability accomodations.
