Camp Kon-O-Kwee is 300 acres of fields and woodlands located along the Connoquenessing Creek, 30 miles north of Pittsburgh, just west of Zelienople. Our Camp, which is owned by the YMCA of Pittsburgh, has been serving summer campers since 1926. Camp Kon-O-Kwee provides outdoor adventure in an atmosphere which stresses the YMCA principle of growth in spirit, mind, and body.
Campers live in groups of six to eight, each group living in a cabin within a Village designed by age groups. Modern bathhouses are located in each village. Nourishing meals, and there is plenty to eat, are served family style in our dining hall. Campers take turns being "waiters" for their cabin mates, and everyone is responsible for leaving the table and Dining Hall in clean and orderly fashion.
