Residential Programming at Camp Allyn
Weekend residential programming for children, teens, and adults with disabilities, offered twice a month, providing a respite for both camper and family as well as a place to spend time with friends, play games, participate in arts and crafts projects, attend cookouts and campfires and outdoor exploration under the supervision of a qualified and dedicated staff.
A limited number of children needing additional assistance, including communication and behavioral support, are offered individualized supervision. The schedule may be adapted to meet unique needs and personal goals.
Nursing services are available during campers waking hours to dispense medication and take care of medical needs.
Adults 18 years of age and older with moderate disabilities enhance their socialization and independent daily living skills through opportunities in sightseeing getaways, theme dances and other special trips. To be considered for an Adventure Trip, each individual MUST have previously participated in one or more Camp Allyn Weekend Respites.
