New Monograph: Balance and Flexibility Exercises for Older Adults


Why should older adults perform balance training? Because it can effectively improve balance, postural stability, and gait and reduce the risk and fear of falls.

Health-care providers need evidence-based and easy-to-use programs to educate their clients/patients on increasing physical activity. This paper describes specific interventions to improve balance and flexibility as a means of improving health and functional ability.
