Physical Activity Consultant
The Georgia Department of Human Resources, Division of Public Health, is seeking highly qualified candidates for a Physical Activity Consultant position. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the direction of Georgia�s statewide Nutrition and Physical Activity Initiative to Prevent Obesity and Other Chronic Diseases for all Georgians, and will work with an exciting and dynamic multi-disciplinary team and a variety of partners to develop, implement, and evaluate physical activity initiatives, using education, policy, and environmental approaches. A master�s degree in public health, exercise science, physical education, or a physical activity-related discipline and two years of community or public health experience, developing and implementing physical activity initiatives are required.
