F.I.T.T: Are You at Risk? Understanding BMI and What it Means to You


It is no surprise that America is fighting an obesity epidemic. We read about it regularly in the media and observe it first-hand on the bus or in the grocery store. Surgeon General Richard Carmona recently commented, Obesity is the terror within  which is eroding our society. It extends to children and teens, with rates for these groups tripling over the last 40 years. The epidemic has even spread to our pets! One recent study suggests that one out of every four cats and dogs is obese.
