Nutrition Spotlight: What is Heart-Healthy Eating?


Well, it's February and you know what's right around the corner... Valentine's Day! A day where you can express your love and appreciation for loved ones with chocolate hearts, truffles, and candy hearts - just about anything sweet. While enjoying one of the sweetest days, take some time to also think about the health of your heart. Heart disease is ranked as the number-one killer in the U.S. For this month's column, Gillian explains what is heart-healthy eating, and provides some helpful tips to go along with it.
