Wheelchair DanceSport USA
Wheelchair DanceSport USA is a non-profit association whose aim is to promote, initiate, and stimulate the growth and development of Wheelchair DanceSport in the United States. This is accomplished by providing wheelchair dance programs, organizing classes, performances, training camps and seminars for those serving children and adults with disabilities, as well as supporting recreational and competitive wheelchair dancers and nondisabled dancers.
American DanceWheels
American DanceWheels is an artistic organization that trains individuals with disabilities, their able-bodied partners, ballroom dance teachers and occupational and physical therapists the art of Wheelchair Ballroom and Latin Dancing. Seminars for professional dance teachers and therapists are held so that this method of wheelchair dancing can be taught to wheelchair users in all communities.
IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport
The International Paralympic Committee (IPC), and the IPC Wheelchair Dance Sport (technical committee) incorporates the rules of the International Dance Sport Federation (IDSF). The International Paralympic Committee is an international non-profit organization and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Paralympic Games and functions as the international federation for nine sports.
