From the Editor's Desk: Inaugurations for Us All

As one official, and historical, inauguration takes place in D.C. this month; many of us have individual inaugurations taking place in our own lives. It's time to launch those new year's resolutions, and as scary as it is for anyone starting something new, whether it's kicking off in a big "White House" on Pennsylvania Avenue or a smaller brick apartment on Martin Luther King Drive, it can't happen alone. We all need various types of support to complete any big goals, and we here at NCHPAD hope that we can provide that support to help you meet your healthy goals for 2009. Read this month's Director's and FITT Columns for tips on tackling your resolutions and continue to visit our site for new and exciting venues and resources for learning and sharing physical activity experiences. To Mr. Obama and our NCHPAD community, good luck and Happy New Year!
