NUDGE: Quadriciser


The Quadriciser is a unique new piece of motorized therapy equipment for people with disabilities. It is a gentle motorized system, which moves all four limbs at once. The motor drive system moves cables and pulleys attached to hand grips and leg cradles. The Quadriciser provides individual options for different ranges of motion, speeds, levels of resistance, and exercise duration. It also provides adjustable features to accommodate different users' needs, such as adjustable seating (backward, forward, or removable), adjustable Velcro straps for legs and/or hand grips if needed, and adjustable sitting and lying positions. The Quadriciser offers people with varying degree of disabilities to exercise and achieve better health and is "specific for individuals who need assistance achieving the daily movement their body needs."
