It has been well-documented that physical activity benefits individuals of all abilities, and there is no exception for people with vision impairments. Most frequently, fear and lack of confidence tend to be factors stopping people with vision impairments from becoming physically active. As fitness professionals, when working these individuals, it is our job to create exercise prescriptions that maximize the benefits with the fewest risks.
