The creator of the Step exercise program has recently developed the Ramp workout, in which participants step forward and backward on a rubber-covered incline. Whereas step and other cardio workouts focus on developing the quadriceps, 'Ramping' targets the muscles on the back of the legs, including the glutes, calves, and hamstrings, according to Gin Miller, inventor of 'Ramping.' 'Ramping' is suitable for beginners or those who are overweight, as it is simpler and gentler than step exercise workouts.
