Promoting Wellness and Healthy Lifestyles for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities: Phone Conference/CD Cast


On Monday, October 27 or Wednesday, October 29, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. CST, North Dakota Center for Persons with disabilities (NDCPD) at Minot State University will host NCHPAD Director Dr. James Rimmer in leading a phone conference/CD cast on the health crisis facing people with developmental disabilities. Learn how to assist people with developmental and other disabilities to adopt healthy lifestyles and wellness routines.

The format will combine a telephone conference call with a power point presentation. After registering, each site will receive one set of the handouts for photocopying, a CD ROM with Dr. Rimmer?s power point presentation, and the telephone number to use for the presentation. Participants will be able to hear the presentation during the conference call while they view the presenters? power point slides and handouts. Questions will be allowed as time permits.
