Kasser, S. L., & Lytle, R. K. (2005). Inclusive physical activity: A lifetime of opportunities, Human Kinetics.

The authors underscore that all individuals can benefit from participation in physical activity, and that such participation should be inclusive of programs, settings, and activities. Sections include redefining ability and inclusive physical activity, as well as facing barriers to inclusive physical activity; inclusive physical activity program planning and implementation; and application of inclusive practices in play, games, sport, outdoor activities, physical fitness, and more.

Appendices include resources on legal and sports information for people with disabilities; legislation for people with disabilities; assessment instruments; sample medical history and referral forms; and references.
