The responses to the photo in the NCHPAD April 2005 issue provided some interesting thoughts and clarifications on what the ADA requires.
The intended focus of the picture is that access aisles are not provided alongside the accessible parking spaces. An access aisle is defined as: "An accessible pedestrian space between elements, such as parking spaces, seating, and desks, that provides clearances appropriate for use of the elements."
