This is the time of year when many people move from the comfort of their homes to their backyards. Gardening includes all three components of fitness: strength, flexibility, and endurance. One can easily adjust the level of intensity and duration while gardening, allowing virtually anyone with a disability to safely and comfortably participate in various types of gardening activities.
