Suza Francina, a qualified and well-known Iyengar yoga teacher, is now also the author of an exciting book which offers healthy guidelines for aging populations. Throughout the book, Francina uses yoga props and modified poses, and focuses on common characteristics of aging such as osteoporosis, hip fractures, chronic pain, arthritis, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Each of the 12 chapters offers various illustrations of yoga techniques that are advantageous for yoga practitioners as well as those interested in trying this exercise phenomenon.
