CDC Mid-Career Health Scientists, GS-601-13
Three mid-career science positions (GS 13) at CDC are sought to work in the disability and health team of National Center On Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities, Division of Human Development and Disability (DHDD), Disability and Health Team (D&H).
Investigators should have a strong interest and history in examining health disparities and epidemiology of disability and health, the natural history of disability and health, including the prevention of secondary conditions and the effects of comorbid conditions among people with disabilities, as well as potential methods to inform disability policy and interventions. Disability is approached from a lifespan, functional perspective, and therefore, investigators with interests in children, working years, and aging are welcome. Individuals with a strong commitment to collaborative research and disability science, demonstrated through publications in refereed journals are desired. CDC will pay moving expenses to Atlanta.

UIC's Department of Disability and Human Development seeks applications for a tenure-track faculty, assistant professor position. DHD is dedicated to the study of disability with the goal of advancement of disabled persons in society. Duties include developing an externally funded research program and teaching and supervising graduate students. The position requires a doctoral degree and evidence of commitment to disability in scholarship and teaching.
