From the Information Specialist's Desk: Bridging the Gap

NCHPAD is pleased to announce that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has appointed James H. Rimmer, NCHPAD Director, to its National Medical Rehabilitation Research Advisory Board that meets twice a year to discuss the portfolio and research directions for the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR at www.nichd.nih.gov/about/ncmrr/ncmrr.htm). We are excited to be able to provide this input toward bridging the gap between rehabilitation and community-based physical activity.
