FITT Column: 140 Characters and the Power of the Collective Voice


It's the dawn of a new decade! What will the future hold? We hope it will include more financial stability and health care for all Americans! What role will technology play? The past 10 years could be referred to as the digital decade. Technology, specifically in the form of social networking, has changed how we communicate and share knowledge. I will be the first to admit that I can barely keep up with my email, let alone all the tweets from Tweeps on Twitter, but I have now opened my eyes to this powerful medium. If this lingo is new to you, it is time to join the social networking revolution and put the power of the collective voice to work for you and disability-related issues.
