The NDSA National Sports Festival

The NDSA (National Disability Sports Alliance) National Sports Festival will once again bring hundreds of athletes with disabilities from across the United States to Connecticut College, New London, Conn., to compete in national championships and open competitions, June 22-29, 2003.

The NDSA National Sports Festival is recognized as a premier host of athletic competition for athletes with physical disabilities. It has been named host of the 2005 CP-ISRA (Cerebral Palsy - International Sports & Recreation Association) World Games, and in 2000, it hosted the U.S. Paralympic Team track and field trials for the 2000 Paralympic Games in Sydney, Australia.

As the nation's largest sporting event for athletes with physical disabilities, the NDSA National Sports Festival draws recognition and involvement from several countries. Events focus on showcasing talent, as well as providing opportunity for competition against others of similar ability.

Admission to the National Sports Festival is free for the public. For more information, please call 860-267-6757 or visit http://www.ncpad.org/670/2869/2003-02-01.
