NCHPAD Databases Offer You Free Advertising

NCHPAD offers several databases that can serve as free advertising for your accessible program or park, and/or personal training services for persons with disabilities. See the descriptions and links below for more information.

Programs Database: This directory includes information on accessible physical activity, recreation, and exercise programs in your community, as well as contact information on camp directors, therapeutic recreation program directors, and more. Submit your program-related information at http://www.ncpad.org/requestForm/Programs.

Parks Database: Enter your accessible parks information at http://www.ncpad.org/requestForm/Parks, a comprehensive national database of accessible park and recreation areas for people with disabilities seeking accessible recreational opportunities.

Personal Trainers: As NCPAD's overall mission is to help people with disabilities find not only accessible programs but also qualified fitness professionals in their communities, this directory covers information on personal trainers who work with clients with disabilities and health conditions. Personal trainers may take the survey at http://www.ncpad.org/requestForm/Personal~Trainers.
