Winter solstice is when, because of the earth's tilt, your hemisphere is leaning farthest away from the sun, and therefore the daylight is the shortest. It only lasts an instant in time, which is about how long some of our New Year's resolutions last! So although the term solstice means "standing-still-sun," this winter, let NCHPAD help you avoid your own solstice. Check out some of the following resources to get yourself moving, no matter how much daylight you have!
- NCHPAD Webshop (NCHPAD produced exercise videos for people of varying abilities)
- Exercise Video List (non-NCHPAD but commercially available exercise videos)
- Ai Chi
- Strengthening Exercises
- Yoga for Individuals with Disabilities
